Writting:
Two years ago I went to London with my parents and my sister. We had a really good time.
I brought with me a suitcase in which there were all the clothes I needed, a toothbrush and a comb. Apart from this, I also brought with me my typical bacpack that I take whereever I go with a camera and a mobile phone inside.
We tavelled from Burdeos' airport to Gatwick airport but we had to wait an hour more in Burdeos because our plane had been cancelled so we had to wait to the next one. When we arrived to Gatwick airport we took a train to Victoria Station and after that we called a taxi because we didn't know where our hotel was. At that moment, we felt really nervous. But finally, we got to the hotel.
The hotel had three stars and it was called ''City''. It wasn't very well known but the rooms where fine, it was enough for us.. In the hotel, we had half board menu, that means, breakfast and dinner. We prefered having lunch outside in a restaurant something more special.
Generally, the weather was cloudy and cool except from the first day, that we arrived and it was sunny and warm. In fact, we wanted to go to the beach but we realised that it was starting to get cloudy so we went to the Brittish Museum.
We ate fish and chips, the typical food from London. It was delicious but my sister didn't like it so she ate a salad. She let me try but it was too spicy for me.
The visit to Stamford Bridge was the acvtivity I enjoyed the most because I love football and comparing with the stadiums we've got here, is impressive and a lot more bigger. I was so excited that I bought a Chelseas' ball but in general, we didn't buy a lot of souvenirs. Well, my sister went shopping in Oxford Street but my mother didn'd let her buy loads of things because it was expensive.
On the first day as I said before, we wanted to go to the beach but the weather was getting cloudy so we went to the British Museum, it was huge and I remember that we had to pay a lot of money. On the second day we visited Stamford Bridge and The National Gallery. The next day, we visited the Big Ben and the Tower of London. Finally, the last day, we relaxed in Hide Park.
In the future, I would like to visit London again, it’s a beautiful place.
